kidamnesiac
I love burgers more than any other food. A restaurant in Eagle Rock near where I live does a yearly event called "Burger Week." 7 specialty burgers in 7 days. Each time you are present for the burger of the day, you get a pin and a wristband. On Sunday when you purchase the seventh burger, they cut the wristbands off and give you a shirt. This was the shirt for 2014: I've wanted to do it every year since they started but kept forgetting/missing it. This year I finally got around to it. I ate all 7 of these bad boys: http://www.laweekly.com/squidink/2014/05/22/oinkster-burger-week-2014-details-of-all-seven-burgers I also had the pleasure of eating a couple of the burgers with my pal, Cesar (also a member of VC), who won a VIP line pass that let him skip the line for the week. 3arl
Whataburger is probably my favorite burger. I think a #1 with cheese, only mayo combo with a Dr. Pepper is the meal I've had most often in my life. I don't like living almost 2000 miles away from the closest one. Also, green chile cheeseburgers are where it's at. It's mostly a New Mexico and Colorado thing, but green chile makes everything better. horrorbusiness138
I had Bad Apple here in Chicago last night. Had a burger with braised BBQ pork belly, and grilled pineapple atop a delicious burger. Shit was amazing!!
TheGhostOfRandySavage
Whoa! I'm not a huge pineapple fan, but that sounds gooood. Is anyone here from Kentucky, and have you been to Dizzy Whiz? It's down by my family's sheet metal shop and I see it when I go visit, but I haven't been there yet. Looks...interesting.
