lokithelion
I like touching my music. I like flipping the record. I love looking at the art the way art on albums should look. I love reading the lyric sheet. I love drawing the covers while I listen. Pretty colors. Makes you listen to the album as a whole without skipping to the "good" songs. Etc
momentumlost
ok...serious response: i like vinyl because it makes me interact with the music more..i have to flip the record and because of that i pay more attention to it and usually listen while checking out the notes...its a more fulfilling experience. non serious response: because it make me a cooler person to won more than 200 records.... jhulud
I listen to music on vinyl so I can be an even bigger elitist asshole than I already am...
Guest genericinsight
I listen to both, so I can't really answer your question. I guess I swing both ways when it comes to my audio. what he said.
youarethere
I think the idea of limited colours/pressings is awesome, it encourages you to buy the album by the band you love straight away when it comes out. I still try to buy CDs and listen to them as opposed to just listening on my iPod dock, my stereo is shite but I want physical copies of stuff on CD as well, not everything is released/acquirable on vinyl. translatingthename
His quote is hilarious. and how the guy right after dave is like, "...that doesn't even make any sense at all" haha
steventangent
Dave Mustaine is a knob. I always read/watch interviews with him because he makes an ignorant ass out of himself more than ANYBODY, and usually it's funny.
Guest falloutcollapse
Vinyl is the most fun way to listen to music. Watching the colors spin, and then flipping the record is the best thing. Getting super limited colors and variants is a blast!
heavyheavylowlow
I like to rub one out onto the spinning record and watch my man juice splatter around the room. Oh, sorry... did I lower the tone.

jailhouse
I think a lot of it is the same reason people collect coins, or baseball cards, or comics or whatever. It's fun
