monk0nuggets
Fucking bogus. I spent almost $400 and I'm getting $35 back for one, and they won't buy the rest of them at all.
kyle
It is total fucking bullshit. I feel your pain.
flood
put em up on amazon. or half.com my wife sold all of her old books thru there for alot more than the school offered
scottheisel
Yeah dude, sell 'em on half.com. Also, don't sell back a book unless you know the course is being offered next term. I always heard that if the book will be used next term, they will give you half its value for it; if it's not being used next term, however, they give you 1/10th or something. kellyjanice
I always put up signs around campus and sold the books directly to students that were taking the course next term
xjustinxschwierx
also try www.alibris.com
akross
I eventually folded and bout the "international edition" of a lot of my books off the internet. Way cheaper, and always a good time carrying around a book that has "Not authorized for sale outside of (random third world country)"... mediocore
Just amazon.com to buy them and sell them to people on campus. Or just go without them for a quarter/semester where you know you won't need books much.
kouka
you won't need books much. this made me laugh.

I always heard that if the book will be used next term, they will give you half its value for it; if it's not being used next term, however, they give you 1/10th or something. I always sell back to the off-campus bookstore because they give you more (not much, though) and if a book isn't being used in the upcoming term they won't buy it. I have a stack of books i should put on half.com
Guest baseball
Just use half.com, it doesn't even take that long. Just type in the ISBN. I've made hundreds back selling on there. If you want to unload them faster just make your price like a penny lower than the lowest.
andywax
Just amazon.com to buy them and sell them to people on campus.. Got all my books on Amazon and sold them back to my school's bookstore for a profit!!!
loren
id rather give my books away than sell them back to the school that takes even more money from you just so they can rip off another student with their outrageous prices. half.com works great for reselling books though...i always buy and sell my books through there
