vinylfilmaholic
I have an original 2112 but damn a hologram cover would be sick. The hologram is in the dead wax of the record, not the cover. Similar to the gimmick on Lazaretto.

vinylfilmaholic
On the Steve Hoffman forums they say it sounds fantastic despite the hologram.
russtcb
The hologram would have zero impact on the audio of course. Has there been any news on the titles after these? I'd be interested in getting some of their later albums that I've never come across.
vinylfilmaholic
At least 1 album a month until Hold Your Fire. Not sure about any after that
Barberbro
Ok, so I want to buy this album. I was looking at a listing on amazon for this within my price range. I think it was from import cds. Are there any different pressings for this recent reissue or are they all cut from the same master? Do they all have the hologram as well? kannibal
The Euro pressing is 180g (US is 200), and pressed at GZ (US at QRP). Other than that they are identical.
chopperdudep
Just got my Moving Pictures in today, and it sounds amazing. Probably as good if not better than my copy from 81. Mind you, could be because the old one has obviously been played a ton, but is still in GREAT condition.
