Heads up, the PO will close on 30th Jan.

Placed my order this morning and the overall price definitely didn't hurt as much as I was afraid it would - ok still customs to come but whatever, VOOL!!

There should be more people posting to this topic seriously. Maybe once Karnivool tours US again (seems like happens in April) that might spark some more interest.

I love Karnivool, but I'm going to pass on these for now. These run-times concern me for audio quality on single LPs. Themata runs 48:46, not too bad. But Asymmetry runs 67:04, and Sound Awake runs 72:00!

I've purchased long-sided LPs in the past that ended up sounding worse than my MP3 copies, so $110 is a lot of scratch for me to purchase just for the love of the band. I'd love to hear reports of SQ once you guys get your copies, though.

Hey

Just sending you an update on the Karnivool vinyl pre orders. We’ve just received news from the European pressing plant, that there have been some - very typical - delays on the manufacturing.

Anyone that’s purchased vinyl would probably not be too shocked! ‘Vool management were hoping to avoid any delays by ordering the vinyl months ago, but alas - there have still been delays.

It’s looking like we’re going to be receiving late April now for May delivery.

If anyone needs to change shipping address etc please contact us!

Sincerely,

Duane Jackson

24Hundred Store Manager

Well, I would had been surprised if this press hadn't ended up being delayed, so yea, it was expected. Anyways, I don't mind really, I've been waiting for so long for these records to be released on vinyl, so I can wait a bit longer :) I really hope it will be a high quality press. Sound Awake will be amazing to blast on vinyl if so. Especially looking foward to hear how the drums in Deadman sounds on vinyl.

The Vinyl Editions - Delays

Sure you will be as disappointed as us to learn that The Vinyl Editions are running a full six weeks later than originally scheduled.

Whilst we must take the blame for a week of delays due to technical changes, the final delivery issue is beyond our control. The manufacturer in the Czech Republic has explained the delays are due to the massive demand for vinyl sales and the extraordinary popularity of Record Store day which is fantastic for vinyl, just not ours.

But, on a brighter note, we can now confirm that The Vinyl Editions will come with lossless audio (FLAC) as a free download with each album.
