Jamie XX - In Colour

Recommended Posts

Loud Places is lovely. I've been waiting patiently since last year when I first heard Sleep Sound in a mix. His album a few years back was one of my favs for the decade so far, as My Cloud is still on heavy rotation for me. Love everything he does. I.cannot.wait.

On another note, you can stream Jaime and Four Tet tomorrow night, live on BBC's essential mix, And for the ones that have heard these two go b2b, you know it will be a good listen. I wouldn't be surprised if he plays a few of these new songs.

Does anybody have that split single he put out last April? I believe it's Girl/Sleep Sound

I have girl/sleep sound  - it's a great pressing.

just visited the amazon link for the deluxe....says the label is Beggars Banquet.  wonder what that's about.

Via young turks Twitter the first 750 to order deluxe from yt store will receive a free white label sampler with the first four singles!

I saw this listed on discogs and then asked Young Turks whether they had all gone or not. I wanted to know if I had missed out, or had to order straight away as I haven't been paid yet. I was going to order anyway, it was all about timing.

I didn't hear back at all, so I have just ordered anyway. Fingers crossed.

i just ordered from the young turks website.  shipping to the states was less than five bucks!  i kind of wanted to wait to see if amazon US was going to get this, but I dont want to take a chance.  I can see this one being hard to get one day.

My total was $45.51, which included Media Mail shipping and CA tax. Much better than ordering it from the UK site, which was the one linked by the OP.

certainly they wouldn't send out a sampler the same time as the record.  kind of takes away the point of a sampler.  but i also questioned the cost effectiveness of shipping out 750 records all over the world for free.

Well it's called a sampler. But in this day and age, where you can stream everything and find stuff without needing the physical record to hear the tracks stuff I think it's just the terminology being used, kind of a throwback.

Either way, we shall know very soon if people start getting them.
