drtongue
Just checking if anyone had any older 45's from the 60's to early 90's Rock and Roll to Metal-Grunge-Mosh-etc. Also newer 7's that have the smaller hole and play @ 33.3 [7 inch 45rpm with large hole or 7 inch 33.3 with small hole] (Newer Rock/Hardcore/Metal) (prefer mostly popular- semi popular stuff : Thousand Foot Krutch type, Chevelle, 10 Years) I've got an old jukebox like the thread implies and I'm not looking for your Mint Rare pressing of obscure tune but rather the unwanted hits that somehow lost their cover or Margaret Monroe from Tampa inscribed her name on the label for eternity. Maybe some have covers but they show the age of time and are ripped. I just want some more variety to what I already have...... and it has to be able to play on my machine. And I do have a few, maybe we could trade but I'd like to buy first and foremost. Here's some stuff that I have and pardon the formatting please as it was my list that I copied off another site where I trade for them as well. The letters and numbers are for a list I made for my juke and I've left it on there as well. 7 inch exclusively: A1 The Beatles-I Want To Hold Your Hand (1963) Capital purple B1 I Saw Her Standing There C1 The Beatles-Roll Over Beethoven (1963) Capital swirl D1 Please Mister Postman E1 The Beatles-Please,Please Me (1964) Veejay F1 From Me To You G1 The Beatles-And I Love Her (1964) Apple import H1 If I fell J1 The Beatles-Eight Days A Week (1965) Capital swirl K1 I Don't Want To Spoil The Party L1 The Beatles-Ticket To Ride (1965) Capital swirl M1 Yes It Is N1 The Beatles-We Can Work It Out (1965) Capital swirl P1 Day Tripper Q1 The Beatles-Nowhere Man (1966) Capital swirl (PS!) drtongue
I'll take it as a no? Anyone have the old school singles or some newer stuff that actually plays at 45 rpm like the older "singles"? EDIT: Looking for newer 45rpms that have a small center hole and play at 33 1/3. Or newer 45's with a larger center hole and play at 45rpm. Or I can sacrifice some of my vinyl worth (see picture) to fit my machines picking format playing speed (plays the smaller holes at 33.3 and all other 45's at 45)
controlthebleeding
Seriously dude, i am so jealous of your jukebox... as it is one of the possessions i have really wanted since i was 12. I had a chance once, and my dad wouldn't shell out $300.
drtongue
Thanks, she is a beauty, my dad originally paid $600 for it in the late 60's and I was given the juke a few years back. Buying some stuff off of Epheron as well, is there a reference system aroung here?
chunkrock
I have The doors - Love her madly B/W "(You Need Meat) Don't Go No Further" if that is of any interest to you. I also have Weird Al "eat it" B/W "that boy could dance" but I'm not sure I wanna get rid of that.
drtongue
Sent you a PM , chunkrocksteady. Found some more old school tunes on another site that I'm waiting for. Got some records from Epheron today in the mail. Here's one of them that is now worthless to 99.90 percent of the board's members I'm sure. Not to me though as it spins at the correct speed for it's centers circumference now. 1x White Stripes "new" 45 , 1x Rotary tool , a few different sized bits for shaving, and 2 trashed 45's for guidelines (tape the older one's to it for precision holes) =

So that worked out OK and sounds good? Also, I probably have 5,000+ singles that are perfect for a jukebox. 50s - 80s, primarily. If you have specific wants, let me know, I'll never make a list. Otherwise, I'll keep rotating them in and out of my jukebox

AlexH.
eBay always has sweet deals on 45 lots, just search "single lot" or "45 lot" or something like that and you'll get stuff like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/LOT-OF-138-45-RPM-SI....QQcm dZViewItem usually for pennies on the record too.
