joestummeras
Hey everyone.....I'm a long time vinyl listener, and a very amateur collector. I came across this board the the wonderful world of Google, and after lots of perusing and a purchase of the Further Seems Forever vinyl (still one of my absolute favorite bands), I thought it would be appropriate to get some opinions on a situation that came across me me this afternoon. A friend of mine who I play poker with was going through his collection of vinyl from years ago and uploading them to his computer. He's in his late 50's so many of his records just sat upright in a box for years and years. While doing this, he came across two unopened, original LP's that he purchased years ago. They were both in the original shrink wrap and and one still had the price sticker on it. The two albums are Cream - Early Cream and get this..........Led Zeppelin II I've searched for over an hour now online, and I can't find an original unopened copy of either of these albums anywhere....so I can only guess the value would be similar to other original unopened LPs on Ebay currently.....The 200-500 each range..... So anyways....I'll probably be frequenting this board now....so if anyone has any feedback, that would be awesome. Adam

Duff
the only original zeppelin II ive seen was hanging on the wall at my local record store with a nice little price tag reading $250. im curious as to the condition of those records though with them being sealed for 30 odd years. im not telling you to open them but i would like to see pics as well. flood
not to piss in anyones cheerios... but unless these were original first pressings they're probably not worth too much i would think... you gotta remember that vinyl was the primary medium at the time of these releases, and theres probably a million of each released. even as far as being sealed... its all too easy to find someone with a shrinkwrap machine
chiefwahoo
I partially agree with flood. The older the pressing, the more valuable the record. But any sealed copy of Led Zeppelin II is going to sell for a shit ton, period. If the catalog number is SD 8236, it's an older pressing and probably worth quite a bit more than if the catalog number is SD 19127. Either way, I'd say you're going to be in the price range you listed.
xxmartinxx
Classic rock vinyl collectors pay a good deal for sealed copies of records.
