JRHews
This band has been getting progressively worse over the years. Really liked Seldom Seen Kid an BARB, but anything after that is forgettable. 30+shipping for single LP? Will pick up in store is this is any good. It's been a pretty steady decline since then.
timsimmons
I don’t think it’s a decline. Just samey.

Super unoriginal/samey content doesn't make it far for me anymore unless it's an extremely nuanced band. They are still capable of making beautiful tracks like 'My Sad Captain' and 'Magnificent' but I need more than one solid single.
YouTwo
I actually thought Little Fiction was a major improvement over the previous 2. I'll wait to see what state side options pop up on this one. Already have the 10" on the way.
timsimmons
It’s possible I’ll end up buying this by release day. Fall is some great Elbow weather. We’ll see. I only really loved 2-3 tracks off the last 2 records and I haven’t gone back to them since I saw the band last year.
timsimmons
Also this album cover sucks. The promo of the billboard at the construction site was a better cover.
YouTwo
Bull Moose has what I assume is standard black for $24 https://www.bullmoose.com/p/31707838/elbow-giants-of-all-sizes

Build a Rocket Boys and Take Off and Landing were a lot better than I remember and Little Fiction seemed.... Disappointing. I remember really liking it when it came out but in the grand scheme of their work it didn't hold up.
