xjustinxschwierx
Just got word that I'll be doing a record for a great up and coming band from Chicago! News announcement tomorrow morning! Stay tuned! get stoked. why create a new thread... Chicago's Zero to Sixty have signed on with Underground Communiqué Records to release their debut 5 song EP, "the Hour Has Come". The record will come as a one-sided 12” record. The songs will consist of the 4 songs from the bands self released 3" CD-r plus a new-ly recorded song. The band formed in 2007 by Dan Precision (exRise Against, Break the Silence and 88 Fingers Louie), Denis Buckley(also ex 88 Fingers Louie), three members of a local band called 1dickens(Mirek, Lukas and Chris) and Mike Ford who spent time in Break the Silence and as a touring drummer in Shai Hulud. If you haven't done the math yet...that's six guys(1 vocals, 3 guitarists! 1 bass and 1 drummer)! Zero to Sixty is bringing back the three guitar attack!!! They debuted at last years Riot Fest and recorded their demo at Dan's Bombshelter Recording Studio. You can hear two of the EPs tracks on their myspace page...(as well as a few demos) here: http://www.myspace.com/zerotosixtychicago or head over to the UCR myspace to hear their song "Catastrophe Awaits"
