PO: New Found Glory - Catalyst vinyl (out 11/3)

Recommended Posts

Big sigh. I had an issue with my first tri-color copy where C/D was warped pretty badly. It caused the first half of tracks C1/D1 to skip. They luckily sent me another copy for free.

Got it it in today. No warp, side C of played perfect. Almost put it away but decided to play side D. Track D1 still has a skip. This one is weird and looks like it happens right at the transition between two of the colors.

I guess I’ll just sell both at discounts and hope to make up the $50 I payed for it?

Hold on to them a while and sell at a markup to some nerds who just want to frame them.

I've had a couple records with the second problem. Look reeeeally closely at the spot it is doing it. When this has happened to me in the past there was a little tiny piece of grit stuck in there that wouldn't come out with wet cleaning for whatever reason. Run a toothpick somewhat lightly over that spot and you may dislodge it.

Worth a try at least if it already is unplayable.
