thomas
It is lame for sellers to lie, but it is also up to the buyer to research a bit into what they are buying. It's sad that a lot of people think ebay is the only place to buy records anymore.

adammuzzy
i thought you would've had a better example of not liking liars then something that doesn't even concern you. this thread would be better if you're girlfriend told you she was out seeing the a moving with her friend and was really trying to fit six dicks in her mouth at the same time. gravitylovesdrunks
which cure test pressing?
memphis666
Out Of Print means that it is no longer being made. So unless Asian Man is still making these the seller is correct by saying it's oop.
gravitylovesdrunks
while that might be the technical term of OOP, everyone uses it and takes it to mean no longer able to be bought in stores/online, so the seller is not correct. patron
Out Of Print means that it is no longer being made. So unless Asian Man is still making these the seller is correct by saying it's oop. By that logic, by the time the label gets them, they're OOP since they all come in a big box at the same time.

But many labels keep records in print for a lot time, meaning they continually press more when stock dwindles...a perfect example of that is Lookout in the early to mid-1990s...they ran a lot of their more popular 7"s and LPs several times, meaning they didn't go OOP once the first box was delivered. Today, however, with all of the different colors and editions, most records are OOP once the box of vinyl leaves the pressing plant.
heavyheavylowlow
why is is out of 'print' anyway, I get the origin of the phrase but who prints records?
