dreamover
So I was wondering about the new underoath record on vinyl. I preordered it, cause it looked like a red 10". I saw it at the record store, and bought it (12" black). When my order came, it was also 12" black. I wrote the underoathmerch.com guys and they said they have no way of telling what record is which when they're sealed, but he said he knew of clear and yellow variations. Has anyone gotten these or any other colors? Kinda pissed I'm stuck with two black copies. As far as the deluxe set, looks like it's delayed until 11/25 now. thats almost three months delayed. I have doubts it will ever come out. I don't care about underoath as much as i used to, but i have all the other variations of their other records, I figured I'd get these. desensitizedbyu
Even though I don't like this band really, I love it when they don't give out colors. I find it interesting to see how it pans out.
element101
^ I think that too sometimes but i've ended up with the same record a few times over, which sucks. But the anticipation kills me
daniel
So there are a bunch of colors available from Zambooie, but places like Interpunk and Record Stores have black copies?
desensitizedbyu
No way to tell, really.
daniel
I sent my black copy back to Interpunk because the skipping all over side B was unbearable. It must have been a pressing issue. Haven't heard back from them yet. I don't know what to expect.
element101
No way to tell, really. exactly. interpunk will usually market something as "colored" but since its sealed i dont think there is a way to tell who has what.
desensitizedbyu
That makes it more.. fun? Why don't you guys like get a group or something going and trade doubles and colors and all that. Sounds kinda cute, no?
element101
im all for trading around a campfire! anyone?
cactusbot
I didn't buy this. I am just going to wait a year and a half until no ones cares about Underoath anymore and get these for like 5 bucks each. But I find it weird that T&N did so many colors. That's not like them. daniel
They advertised a deep red, heavy gram 10" and sent out sporadically colored LP's. Blah.
cactusbot
They advertised the 10"s as the "Special Edition". That was a limited thing. Then they were going to have a regular version. I guess you didn't get that memo.

jhulud
"THIS IS A VINYL RECORD, DESIGNED TO BE PLAYED ON A TURNTABLE. THIS IS -NOT- A CD." Mad LOLz!
cactusbot
Well, it doesn't say anything about deep red color on there. Also, there is no way the album could fit onto a single 10", it's obviously a typo. Anyways, Zambooie isn't even Tooth & Nail, it's just their distributor, miscommunication. daniel
From Underoath's online store: It said 10" and back ordered for a while, but I see they changed it to 12" now.
cactusbot
Underoath's online store is not Zambooie.
daniel
http://www.audiblediversiongroup.com/Underoath It's on the front page. I know what I'm talking about, ok?
element101
I ordered from UO and Zambooie and they both said 10" but they were both LP's It's probably just a typo
corbet
I canceled my preorder for the Deluxe package. It took so long to be released I started to second guess the $80 I dropped on it.
zac
I thought these were supposed to be like Blue and red saw blade looking records. I never looked into ordering it but I saw the picture somewhere.
AlexH.
I thought these were supposed to be like Blue and red saw blade looking records. I never looked into ordering it but I saw the picture somewhere. That was the uber deluxe box set that cost $80. The normal edition is a single 12". I'm not sure how I feel about that purple. I didn't order because of the one site that said this would be a single 10", but I might get it now if I can get a good color. Or not, it's a pretty solid album on any color.
