Guest falloutcollapse
I've always thought about how crazy it would be to do something like that
mcm1610
I was at a concert somewhere in Rochester, I can't think of the venue's name, but it has a balcony / catwalk type thing and the stage is like... a hole in the wall, it's so odd but cool. I have no idea who was playing but I remember someone going over the edge like that. Madness, I tell you.

minty
Pretty cool for the people jumping, not cool for the people underneath.
hickey
A kid tried to jump off the balcony at the Lupo's show on Monday night, but security grabbed him and threw him out. About 30 minutes later he somehow got back in and tried again...they roughed him up a little the second time and tossed him.
benchwarmer
I've seen people jump off the balcony at a few places, like the paladium in Worcester, MA during a GWAR show, and somewhere in Lowell during Weezer/Get up kids. crazy shit. patrick
I remember when that kid broke his neck at a Lifetime show when someone jumped off a balcony and landed on him. People need to exercise some common fucking sense and think before they do shit like that.
tattoosdonthurt
I've seen people do that at alley katz in richmond. Or whatever that venue is called.
andywax
thats not irving plaza. it looks like a pic of terminal 5 Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's Terminal 5 too
davehoffa
The best is in the SOD "Live at Budokan" video (which is at the Ritz in NYC) when Billy Milano does a flip off of the speakers and the crowd catches him and then drops him because he's huge. theambulancereview
I've seen people do that at alley katz in richmond. Or whatever that venue is called. Same. Alley Katz is is one of the cooler venues in Richmond.

Guest baseball
I've seen people do that, but at much smaller venues and not nearly that height. That's just dangerous for everyone involved from that height.

I dunno.. it's a small hole in the wall. I know there's a bigger venue that has a balcony in the back, but it's not that one. I want to say Water Street is the bigger one, but I haven't gone to concerts in ROC in a long time.
mcm1610
Holy shit at the Bam thing. I've seen him jump from the balcony, it was in an episode of Jackass I think for a second, but I never saw footage of the fight afterwards.
thebiglebowski
If someone did that at a show I would hope the people underneath would be able to get out of the way and let that person hit the ground. Yeah, it's a little callous to say, but the jumper is the one who chose to accept the bodily harm, not the people underneath.
hyperinactive
my friends band opened this show. how were they? people were jumping off the balcony at knitting factory for MLIW
deadbeat52
I saw a kid jump from really high spot up the side of the stage @ a NOFX show.. my girl took video but you can't really tell how high he really is from it. he just kind of appears.. I was in the pit area and a bunch of us were watching him climb and saying, "he's not jumping, he's not jumping...OH SHIT!" right at about :36 he just drops in sight of the camera..
