vinyljunkie Posted January 3, 2008 Share Posted January 3, 2008 media mail is slow and even more so this time of year. patience.next time use delivery confirmation its 75 cents and you can be worry free. delivery confirmation is only 0.18 with media mail, and free for priority if you buy/print postage online. vinyljunkie Posted January 3, 2008 Share Posted January 3, 2008 I sent something from Florida to Mass Media Mail on a friday and it got there the following monday, I thought that was incredibly quick for media mail its possible that media mail could go priority sometimes. they fill the trucks up if there is any space leftover. when you could get surface mail for overseas they did that too. fill up the plane with the air mail stuff, and if there was room leftover fill up the rest with surface packages to give it a full load. so occassionally if there isnt enough to make a full load of priority/first class, they grab some parcel/media/book rate stuff to fill in. Everyone from this board has been more than trustworthy, so I never worry about getting ripped off.
