Obama's tax plans are not socialist, they are a tweak to the existing progressive tax system that's already in place. In addition, most of the people critical of the plan would actually be better off under the new plan. People are still clinging to the identity politics of 2000-2004. I'd be fine if the conservative wingnuts left the country now, but not to Canada. I like it up there. They should move to the Congo or something. Or Uzbekistan?
