andrew13 Posted January 9, 2008 Share Posted January 9, 2008 i have no problem with a label not liking it, and if they asked nicely to take it down that would have been fine. he came off as a real dick in the whole situation... i think kray just ignored him since he was being a dick, but the others were paranoid over fat/red scare suing them, which toby threatened, and banned their music. personally, i prefer labels like go kart where they encourage you to download it. i've found and bought a ton of music after first downloading it. I've been ordering from Interpunk for years, and while their shipping is ridiculous, its a good place to find other stuff besides vinyl. We have been informed by the label that there are no current plans for it to be pressed again. We're sorry for the confusion caused and for any disappointments. flood Posted January 9, 2008 Share Posted January 9, 2008 toby is a seriously great dude, he was a huge help when we were putting together a benefit comp a couple years ago. and dude if toby flipped out on you dudes for passing out the music he paid to release for free.. hes got every right to be pissed. you look at it a little differently when you actually run an indie label and have to scrape by as it is, without kids passing the shit around for free.
