311thrice
Say a band puts out a record with a lot of pressings, like Less Than Jake or Against Me. Has anyone ever collected an entire pressing? For example, if someone were to collect all of one of the pressings of LTJ's Greased that was limited to 93. That would be an addiction. Guest scriptedrain
I would say yes, but only by the label / people who put it out.
rafter242
There were 1500 copies of NIN - Downward Spiral pressed. They seemed to be cheap $10-$15 up here in the NW. I always thought I should have bought each copy I found. I would have had at least 25-30. Not quite cornering the market, but it would have looked good on my shelf. forgeagain
I mentioned this as a joke a long time ago, about how the only true collection is to have EVERY copy of a release. I do this every time I press a new record. Then I decide to share them with my friends and people who send me money for them. I practically have a complete set of a few records that never sold. Haha.
