jhulud
Hey Darrell...someone over at DF said that it was shrinkwrapped. Was it? And how well-packed was it?
xfedaykinx
yeah, the box itself was shrinkwrapped. the records were kept in the color sleeves for shipment, but there were no seamsplits [thank god]. the box was then wrapped in two layers of large-bubble bubblewrap. pretty well done, if you ask me. apart from taking the records out of the color sleeves they couldnt have done a safer job
skumbucket
okay... come on.... could they have done a better job with this?? radioclash27
got it at 1pm, its amazing, the records sound better then the originals! but i thought it was supposed to be cloth-bound. i can't complain though. a 4 month battle is finally over!!!
jhulud
It is cloth-bound. It's the type of cloth used for most hardcover books. It's more stiff and rough than regular cloth. And yes, I have listened to my copy a few times and it sounds more massive and epic than before. Good stuff.
xfedaykinx
what are you guys doing to keep the box itself in good condition? part of me feels like the more frayed and fucked up the cooler it will look. like some ancient tome of lost lore. but then again, part of me feels like i just spend $265 on this thing and i better keep it in the best shape i can. right now its just on my expedit naked, but i feel like i should try to cover it with something
jhulud
Darrell...first off...fuck you for mentioning you have an Expedit...I don't even own one...so yeah...fuck you...yeah...I'm kinda drunk right now... But seriously...right now mine is just laying down on top of a cabinet...nothing really protecting it...it's just there...
