davezer
What do copies of this usually go for? Anyone here have one they bought recently? What did you pay? I'm searching for one but fraizermart on ebay is absurdly priced on most things in that store, and i feel he may be alittle high on this. Snaggle Von Swift
one recently sold for $88.70 http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-FOUND-GLORY-Nothing-Gold-Can-Stay-SEALED-ed-LP_W0QQitemZ270321879920
cadetapplesauce
awhile back (about a year ago? a year and a half?) i was able to get this sealed for like $71. there's a sealed copy on ebay with a BIN of $100, same seller from the auction just posted. killer record. one of my favorites. gravitylovesdrunks
drive-thru records might catch onto the vinyl trend and re-press this. good album but not $100 good.
northernfailure
Yea no way that's worth that kind of money. It'll almost definitely be repressed at some point.
slinch
is it gone? i can't find it any more. i just saw it last night, too. They have it here along with all other NFG albums. If I had spare cash I'd start a collection:) But I don't, so I won't. http://www.musicstack.com/my/index.cgi
xjustinxschwierx
"the needle on my record player has been wearing thin / this record has been playin' since you've been with him..." this record is so fucking good...but it needs a remastering big time. davezer
I ended up just getting it from gatefold for the $100 BIN. I sold a bunch of stuff last week and had some extra cash so i bought it, plus itll be shipped for free with the Homegrown album i just got from them today also. I justify the 100 bucks spent because this album was such a huge influence on a lot of stuff i listen to today and i still listen to it atleast once or twice a week. Even though im not a fan of the newer stuff, I will fully support this band until the day i die. Good dudes who make good music.
jhulud
I recall the olden days when they were wee lil' lads playing the local shows...and opening for everyone else locally... To me, "It's All About The Girls", "Nothing Gold Can Stay", and s/t are their best albums. I was letdown by "Sticks and Stones".
gravitylovesdrunks
the letdown for me began more with catalyst. sticks and stones still has some good tracks.
jhulud
S&S had some good tracks...but overall it was very 'meh' for me...
davezer
the let down def began for me at sticks and stones as well. first time i saw NFG in 99 was great. 7 total people at the show, only reason i was there was cause a friends band was playing. also... How the fuck does gatefold have like 50 copies of this?!
cadetapplesauce
i stopped listening to them after S&S came out. i didn't let myself enjoy catalyst until just recently, and i absolutely fell in love with coming home a year or two after it came out. seriously, listen to jordan sing "Too Good To Be". soooooo good. lokithelion
Intro on Catalyst is my 2nd favorite NFG song.

birdwell
I think I sold my copy to Zac (on this board) for $80?? and some other records as a trade (i could be wrong...might have been less) I was reluctant to let it go simply b/c I agree w/ Juan and completely lost interest w/ Sticks and Stones....dug It's all about the girls (whatever that ep was called), dug From the screen to your stereo, and even kind of dug the polished Self-Titled sound. I owned all the vinyl up to that...and spun Sticks and Stones once...and it hasn't left the dust sleeve since...I remember seeing them at either the '99 or '00 warped tour in Atlanta on a side stage and diggin' it...I laugh now, but I really dug it at the time at any rate, Anybody looking for a White copy of Sticks and Stones that's literally been played one time??? or a Self-Titled Pic-Disc (Atari Controller A-side/Skateboard Truck B-side) 0656/1000 sold P.M. if interested
