hickey
Why does it have 4 arms? to wear your records down four times faster.
Snaggle Von Swift
Why does it have 4 arms? Why would anyone want four arms on their record player? Different pickup cartridges produce different types of sound, and some audiophiles like to match their record players' arms to different genres of music without going through the hassle of swapping cartridges. jeffo
Why does it have 4 arms? super psychos like a different cartridge for different styles of music. I don't know, I think it looks silly. I'm good with one tone arm.
minty
Crafted in limited editions by an Italian company that will engrave each buyer's name on it For that price I'd want a picture of my balls engraved on it.

melikecheese
LOL, kinda funny CNN is posting about this. 50K+ turntables like this have been around for yyeeeaaaarrrrrsssss. "Gabriel turntable is made with bronze and can be customized with up to four arms" "A one-armed model costs about $27,000, while a four-armed version runs for $64,000, including installation." I guess if you want one arm you can get one arm...

deafmx
I sometimes wonder if needledoctor has ever sold any of these outrageous turntables or if they just have 1 in stock of each one. can't see someone with so much disposable income being totally enthused enough about vinyl to buy something this crazy. danthemjfan23
i wouldn't be surprised if they had 0 in stock, and that if they receive an order, they just build one then. seems a little too pricey/ridiculous to just have extra ones laying around waiting for people to maybe buy them. casey
Why does it have 4 arms? One to play records, two to dig out your pockets, and the other one better give you a fucking tug job for $64K.
