Get Bent - Demo 7''

A tiny collection in comparison to some of the ones in this thread, but I thought it was worth posting because the test is a different colour from the rest of the pressing AND it's a jukebox single whereas the rest of the pressing are normal singles. Pretty cool if you ask me.

I also have a copy of the Demo 7" with a pink sleeve that is not numbered.

However, I do not have the Pinto split on black. Didn't know there was one of those. Interesting.

I love how this thread all of a sudden turned into a couple of dudes posting about some of the best records ever released that 99% of this board couldn't possibly give a shit about.

Maybe I'll get motivated and post my Hooton 3 Car collection or something like that...

A truly awesome collection...

There are two pressings of the "Very Small World" one on various color and the other on black (cover is "same" but different qualities). Not sure which you have.

Here are a few variants that weren't in your photo. There was also a limited box set of "The Worlds In Shreds".

Here is a complete collection of a DC 7" EP favorite of mine that wasn't on Dischord....

Swiz

Down

7" 45 RPM

Hellfire

No. 2

1987

Shown are all variants

Test Press - Black with blank silver labels

1st Press- 200 Black

1st Press- 1000 (?) Yellow

2nd Press- 1000(?) Green

3rd Press- 1000 (?) Blue

I spoke to Jason in the summer of 2003 and he said:

"...the pressing plant screwed up and sent us 200 or so records on black vinyl at first, I think it then went yellow, green and then blue, with around 3500 total records pressed."

Jeff T. the original owner of the test press said:

"I bought this record in Kalamazoo, MI from Jason Farrell himself on the first Bluetip tour... I swear he told me it was one of 3 test presses he had."

Jason commented on his selling of the test pressing:

"I sold a bunch of Swiz vinyl on the first Bluetip tour, figured we'd need the gas money...I think the $10 I got for it may have covered a grand slam breakfast or two...selling vinyl for 2-eggs-over-medium / toast / links / homefries is, like, unfortunate (and maybe not the best trade)... but not shame-worthy...that 7" was by no means "fine wine"... more like malt liquor (which doesn't get any better with age)"

And on that note, here is my Drive collection. I know I have a white 7" someplace, but other than that I think it's complete? Demo and shirt and CD's just thrown in for good measure.
