The highly anticipated new album from VC favorites, O Pioneers, is finally seeing the light of day. After a ton of singles and splits (including one we did with Mike Park and O Pioneers which is close to out of print), they have put out their best recording effort to date. The album is absolutely killer and I am really proud of them. While Asian Man is releasing the album on CD and digitally, Kiss of Death is putting out the wax.

I am a little disappointed because we had originally talked to the band and label about putting together some kind of deluxe set, but for reasons that I can't figure out, we are not doing this. And with the handful of variants for this release, I think we are only getting the orange vinyl.

Gladly, Kiss of Death have given us a test pressing for a test pressing contest. I wish all of you who haven't already ordered it good luck.

Excited to see how these turned out. I love this record.

This record is amazing. Sometimes I think its weird that I enjoy it so much, cause eric and I are such good friends. The first time I saw o pioneers was in 2005. They were the first band I ever put out a record for or toured with. I've seen them with every different member and have been there from almost the start. I'm guilty of not listening to some of the singles that I didn't put out but I am excited about this record. If you like catchy lines that you will find yourself singing at work, and small brown bike you will be into neon creeps.

If you ever had a doubt about this band nows the time to give them a chance.
