Looking for record stores in LA area

There's not really much near Agoura Hills. Your best bet would be to go over the hill a few miles and hit Amoeba Hollywood. It would probably take about a half hour depending on time of day/traffic. You'd take the 101 freeway south from Agoura and exit Sunset.

6400 Sunset Blvd.

Los Angeles, CA 90018

FYI, the following record stores on that list are gone daddy gone

Benway

Fat Beats

Go Boy

House of Records

Vinyl Fetish

Sea Level

Aron's was hands down the best record shop in L.A. Amoeba is now the Walmart of indie record shops and, IMO, is one of the main reasons why all the good shops have shut down.

i agree Amoeba gets too much praise... last time i went i couldnt find anything i liked. Headline is ten times better (more rare finds) and the owner cool too
