ronniethebear
I've had the same problem with stuff I've ordered/won on ebay AND stuff I've sent out. It's pretty annoying.
valentine
shit has been REALLY weird for me lately. mail will come early in the morning around 11. and theres no vinyl. i come home after working a double shift around 11pm and all of a sudden theres something for me sitting on the kitchen table. wtf? its like theres two mail deliveries. either that or it keeps going to the apt downstairs and they realize its not for them. slymer
I think it's because the mailman delivers all the small "regular mail" first, and then goes back out to the truck and grabs the big packages. I'm pretty sure that's what mine does.
hickey
My package deliveries come separate from the regular mail. Usually, packages such as records arrive first, around 10 or 11 a.m. and then the regular mail comes around 1 or 2 p.m. Sometimes it's the opposite. But it is certainly from two different carriers/trucks.
valentine
weird. i guess i'm just used to mail in a smaller town where the dude can just drive the truck from mail box to mailbox.
scottheisel
It all depends on your route -- if you have a door-to-door mailman, then regular mail and packages are almost always done in two separate trips. If you have a drive-by mailman, then you'll get everything at once.

timwt
My school sucks at processing packages. I ordered something from Deathwish one week ago, and if I was at my house it would be here already. I already got my CIS 2nd press from B9 that I ordered Monday morning, so I'm hoping they didn't lose my deathwish order.

My favorites are Saturdays. I get up early. My wife likes to sleep late. Usually between 9 and 10 a.m. I hear something outside and BAM!!! there are some records for me to enjoy while I wait for my wife to wake up. ryantheterrible
that sounds awesome. i was just worried that the reason they didn't deliver them was because of the weather recently.

That would be a relief for me, not a worry. I would love it if my mailpeople decided not to leave records on my stoop because it's shitty outside. adamlikesmusic
My mail person places the packages either in the package box, or if they're already taken, he sticks them in the gap between our screen door and front door. Keeps them out of the sun/water.
