rtw88
I think the law in FL is max of 32 oz in a container. Such a stupid fucking law. I don't get it. Steel Reserve comes in tall boys here.
tanukichu
They make 40s of PBR? Yes they do. two 40s of PBR is what made me drunk last week. I got four of them for 15 bucks here. I will see what I can do Eddie. How many you want?

Obviously law makers know that just 8 more oz.s of booze is enough to send some Floridians over the edge.
rtw88
They also know that you can't, you know, buy another 32 oz. and drink that.
casey
They also know that you can't, you know, buy another 32 oz. and drink that. I'm assuming they know enough not to underestimate the stupidity of any of this state's upstanding natives.
mrc
it seems like the cost of mailing 40s would not be worth it by any means.
bryneyancey
While I agree about the law itself being stupid, what seems stupider is wanting to drink something in a 40 when it's readily available in 12, 16, and 24 ounce containers as well as on tap at many, many bars, and being willing to pay some ridiculous shipping charges to do so. Is beer really so much better out of a 40? I also live in Florida and I've never had one, but I've also never understood their mystique, for lack of a better term. casey
It's just wanting what you can't have.
stranaspank
^^^ Agreed. They just get all warm and gross. And warm PBR is the worst shit ever (well, since warm Natty Ice anyway). Plus, you can drink more of the 12 oz bottles and look more manly.
kirbypuckett
I hate 40s, because usually shitty beers come in them and they're too warm when you're near the last half of it. I'd rather drink a good beer out of a smaller bottle or a pint glass.
ihprstl
They quit selling 40's in the "urban" area's of St. Louis because people were complaining of too much broken glass all over the place.

tobinownlife
They make 40s of PBR? One of the best days of my life. Found some PBR 40's and drank them by Lake Michigan. We were living out of my van because we didn't have any shows in that area.
tommytumult
I seem to recall the Bouncing Souls bragging about how they brought 40's of Mickey's with them on their bus when they came down to Fest. I think they had a few on stage with them, but I couldn't tell.

rtw88
I'll have to buy some 40s when I'm up in Tennessee in a couple weeks to celebrate recently turning 21.
