ludesmaaan Posted November 6, 2009 Share Posted November 6, 2009 We drove out to Rion to catch Sakes Alive!! and After The Fall... What a piece of shit "venue" that was. We got super lost and missed ATF. Then, the sound guy didn't know what the fuck to do during Sakes so it sounded fucking horrible. Every band who played there was royally fucked over. Luckily, SA!! got to play the FS warehouse later that night and killed it. Hopefully the other bands found shows as well. I mean come on, 5 bands played that hole, you're telling me they couldn't fit them in at any other venue? Enough bitching though. The rest of Fest was great- American Steel was perfect and The Menzingers show at 5am was amazing. Pretty much every show at the Fail Safe warehouse was amazing. Also, Planes Mistaken For Stars?! That was intense. I ate Steak-n-Shake every night due to staying at Days Inn. Speaking of, were any of you at our 5am parking lot party? We had like 50 people down there haha.
