mattstrike
Apparently these will only be available from Music Direct (and then ebay after). To start: Nevermind on 180gm blue wax, pressed at RTI (which in my experience, is the best pressing plant in the world (well, Pallas in Germany is pretty good too)). http://www.musicdirect.com/product/85727 Not cheap. That's a warning. However, if these really are gonna be "the best sounding" LPs of these albums, I am all for it. (as opposed to having spent money on simply vinyl version and the mofi (when it came out) and being severely disappointed.)

travis
Damn I need these but should not be spending that kind of money on records right now. Ill get these eventually.
rhythmgtr5
i need these too, but why so expensive? Most other RTI releases are around $20 / LP
mattstrike
^ That's a rhetorical question, right?
suburbanargyle
I am a Nirvana dork, and I am purchasing!
suburbanargyle
In Utero and Unplugged seem to be up too if you search for Nirvana...
cadetapplesauce
when i think of nirvana, i WANT the vinyl to sound like run down. it just seems fitting for the music. (i do like nirvana)
silentgods
30 bucks? i was expecting 50 from the way dudes were talking.
cadetapplesauce
i wonder what colors in utero and unplugged were pressed on. i imagine in utero being pressed on pink or something like that.
suburbanargyle
I hope they don't try to do them like the originals (In Utero on clear and Unplugged on white).
mattstrike
And, in all honesty, 4000 really is limited for a band like Nirvana.
suburbanargyle
Just ordered.....$100 for all three. I wonder what the shipping date of "TBD" means and if they will all come out at the same time.
casey
Just ordered.....$100 for all three. I wonder what the shipping date of "TBD" means and if they will all come out at the same time. I dunno, man. I fucking ordered the represses of the first two Breeders albums in January and haven't heard word one about a release date. I will totally shell out $30 bones for In Utero. And it's the Albini mix, too. That's a major plus. Too bad they're not doing Incesticide, though.
mattstrike
The Albini mix? Read it again brother - Albini Produced, but Scott Litt mix - at least that's what I read from the info...
suburbanargyle
Yeah, it looks like they do have the Albini mix in stock though, the "import" In Utero.
casey
Maybe I was reading a different one.

oakland
They just look like records dude. In Utero is clear, Incesticide is a turquoise / light blue.

circlingvultures
I was waiting for a show at ABC No Rio to start one summer and I found myself in a weird record store. Mostly jazz and r&b records from what i remember. crates and crates and no order to anything. Everything was $5. Found a mint copy of Unplugged on white vinyl after about 2 hours of crate digging. Made my week.
troymess
Hmmm...this would be nice to have. 30 beans? Closing on my house tomorrow...I'll wait it out and see what kind of money I have after I sign the papers for a lifetime of debt.
mxv
I have the originals of all of these (and the MSFL Nevermind) and still find myself tempted to get these... I need that albini mix of In Utero too, one of these days I need to find one.
