I cant find the exact story where mest is named but i have on good source thats who it was. I am not a fan of creating false rumors but this i believe to be 100% true. salparadise Posted August 7, 2009 Share Posted August 7, 2009 i think they ruled that murder in self defense so he didn't see any jail time. but he still has to live with the fact that he took someone's life my ex girlfriend got a kid off who sold coke to two undercover police officers...the legal outcome and the truth are not the same thing to me. from what i recall he went to where the guy was, with some understanding that there might be a violent confrontation. but whatever, the loss of a life is one thing - and i hate to make light of that, however the crimes he committed against humanity with mest are basically on par with that. xjustinxschwierx Posted August 7, 2009 Share Posted August 7, 2009 Tony's kind of a scumbag anyway... he was in a white power band called Confederate Storm with his Brother(tony was a teenager, and his brother was older) and I know his Mom is pretty racist too as she got into a confrontation with a friend of mine years ago at a show...so the karmic backlash this dude has incurred is well deserved...and I know he's gonna try to turn this publicity into a comeback... Sorry if that's worded weird. 100% true. I never dealt with them at the time, it was sort of before my time in the mid-90's but I have friends who saw them play. For a while Tony was denying it and saying only his brother was in the band but Tony was in the band too...granted he was really young and influenced by an older brother...we all have done stupid, regrettable things trying to be accepted in our formative years. 6 or 7 years ago they found out I was telling people about it and they emailed me threatening me for talking about at, which i wish i still had the emails, but I told them i would not stop telling people about it until he owned up to it and talked about it as a regrettable part of his life to hopefully be some sort of role model for any impressionable kid to realize they shouldn't go down that path and after that they stopped emailing me and I think he talked about it for a little while in the press. there are pictures and demo tapes floating around... in other news: the AF misinterpretation was i think more a poor-wording choice rather than them being overtly racist.
