706union
damm, that man has an unbelievable output As much as I like what he´s doing the release policy is pure trash...two 7"s on the day of the album release? Why not put the songs on the album? Why not sell the picture disc with LP pre-orders but with CD pre-orders? $$$ here I come...
geezfools
I asked side one why they weren't doing the picture disc with the LP and the thing is, they aren't doing the LP. Chucks label is putting it out, so it doesn't really work. But the 7"s being releases on the same day is kind of odd. Think you would be getting enough hype with the LP being released. Wait a month and do the next 7" to bring back a little hype, then do the same thing with the next 7". Seems like a smart way to do it to me at least
psychoriley
And let us not forget about the Leech records LP Live at Hafenkneipe Zürich coming out Sept 4th...So thats 2 LPs AND 2 7"s all in the 1st week of september!

Point is: they added the 7" to the CD deal to make all the collectors buy the CD as well. Not the best move in my book. I really support all the stuff Mr. Ragan did but this is a crazy marketing policy. If he asked a few more bucks per LP that would be totally fine with me. syr667
speaking of the swiss live album, are you gonna try to get yr hands on some of these virgil? shipping one record from switzerland is pretty expensive...
mcm1610
I'm not concerned with shipping so much as ordering simply. I don't want to order things from 11 different stores. He's got too much going on right now for me to even follow.

phantommaggot
Ok I'm missing something. Two 7in's on the day of release. Break The bread and then whats the second one? There's a pic disc that you can get by pre-ordering the CD. Although a note on the site says that the 7" will not ship till a couple weeks after the CD. birdwell
So what the hell is on the pic disc? I though t I had all his shit now I am missing that one and this other live one... The Pic Disc is just two songs off of "Gold Country"...the two songs being "Rotterdam" on the A Side and "Coal Tattoo" on the B Side
scooterist136
Coal Tattoo is on Gold Country. It was recorded live during the daytrotter sessions.
geezfools
I hate vinyl releases that are on other vinyl releases. Regardless if they're being sold on the same day, etc. At the very least make one a B-Side or acoustic or electric or whatever. Oh well, I didn't buy any of these yet, will grab the LP when I see him on tour eventually.
putodinero
Coal Tattoo is on Gold Country. It was recorded live during the daytrotter sessions. No, Coal Tattoo isn't on Gold Country. It's the B-Side from the picture 7" (from the Daytrotter Session) and it's on the Live at Hafenkneipe Zürich LP.
