gmoney
This guys rocks. In a slow, acoustic, folksy kind-of way... And his first album finally got some vinyl treatment and sounds even better. Anyone else?

baseballhotdog
I saw open for The Weakerthans, too. Good stuff! Fat Possum had an August deal. Most of their vinyl was $10, including both AA Bondy's releases.

gmoney
Played about 13 songs. Six old (five of which had some weird new melodies going on, and one which he didn't finish because it was 'too weird'), A few covers - including one he didn't finish because it was too emotional. The new songs sounded good though. All the songs finished abruptly when the lyrics were over. Definitely one of the weirdest and worst shows I've been to. Dude didn't seem drugged or intoxicated - just seemed like he was playing his own open mic night without practicing in a few years.
birdwell
Sounds like Scott.....sounds like all of the train-wrecked Verbena shows from back in the day I always heard about
