xlovecolouredx
i started with stay what you are and love it too much. through being cool is good and i like it more than the debut. in reverie is the only one album ever available at here by enormous imported cd. i didn't check daybreak. and you ? discuss.... dntheman1
Start to finish, Through Being Cool is the best. Others have songs that are on the top of my list, but this is the album that got me into the band and largely into the genre.
birdwell
Through Being Cool...by far my favorite, and in my opinion, their best release to date
jayeffscene
'Bye Bye Baby' might be the best song they've written. So fucking catchy.
casey
Through Being Cool is solid, but Stay What You Are is way more dynamic.
headtowall
funny this poll pops up the day i listened to everything up until stay what you are. Stay What You Are is my #1 album
thousandjulys
stay what you are is the most important to me. i also really like in reverie, I know thats a controversial one. i thought sound the alarm sucked and i don't mind under the boards. opivy
1 Through being cool 2 Cant slow down 3 Stay what you are 4 Under the boards 5 In reverie 6 Sound the alarm
thesupervillain
I always liked Can't Slow Down more, but I think Through Being Cool is a better album. I also really like Stay What You Are, but it's hard for me to even think of them as the same band after TBC.
jayeffscene
Who else picked 'Sound the Alarm?' Also: their DVD for 'Under the Boards' might be the most boring band documentary I've ever seen.
bryneyancey
1. Stay What You Are 2. Under The Boards 3. Through Being Cool 4. Can't Slow Down 5. Sound The Alarm 6. In Reverie Stay What You Are is a really important record to me, too; it's the one that got me into the band. Under The Boards is criminally underrated. scottheisel
Who else picked 'Sound the Alarm?'Also: their DVD for 'Under the Boards' might be the most boring band documentary I've ever seen. I did. I fucking love that record, more than any other Saves The Day record.
opivy
Under the boards is pretty amazing for a new album, and I'm typically the asshole who likes band's "old stuff". Still can't get into Sound the Alarm as much as the other records. As for SWYA or TBC, I don't think they're very comparable and your favorite probably just depends on what genres of music you like. jurrobear
they had a copy of In Reverie for $40 at amoeba today,I already have it but If anyone needs it, I'll be more than glad to drive out there and pick it up for you.
kidamnesiac
I'm sorry but Can't Slow Down is a terrible record, in my opinion. I can't even stand listening to it it's so bad. As far as I'm concerned, STD was not a band until Through Being Cool.
kidamnesiac
Someone feel free to change my mind, though.
momentumlost
i first heard through being cool and it will always have a place in my heart, but in reverie is hands down the bands finest work. its such a growth as musicians and chris as a songwriter. through being col seems very childish in its lyrics to me and i just dont connect with it like i did in high school/college.
