burdenx
Holy shit, Can't Stop Partying has to be the worst Weezer song ever.

Guest adam526
I'm Your Daddy is an A+ song because it mentions my favorite restaurant in LA. 'Put Me Back Together,' and 'Don't Want to Let You Go," are alright. 'I Can't Stop Partying' and 'In the Mall' are laughable. Horrible songs. This is just a continuation of Red to me. Mediocre songs surrounded by worse songs.

smailtronic
Holy shit, Can't Stop Partying has to be the worst Weezer song ever. The version on Alone II is beautiful. The album version... not so much.
alertthemute
Why do I always get the idea that maybe the rest of the album will be as catchy/good as the pre-release single...
burdenx
Overall this album is better than Red and probably better than Make Believe. Some of these songs are waaaaaayyyyy too fucking poppy though. Let It All Hang Out seriously sounds like a Miley Cyrus song. Like the past couple albums, I'll listen to a few of these songs a lot and probably never listen to others ever again. Edit: I'm glad they didn't fuck with The Prettiest Girl In the Whole Wide World too much, it turned out great. Sounds like a Blue Album b-side. mediocore
They need to release SFTBH next. Then get back to doing whatever it is they currently do.
smailtronic
They need to release SFTBH next. Then get back to doing whatever it is they currently do. Their next two releases will be Pinkerton Deuxe and Odds & Ends. I'd bet that we'll see lots of SFTBH tracks in those two albums.

We're only missing 4 tracks from SFTBH as it is; I just want a copy that's mixed/mastered and sequenced as it was intended.

scottheisel
Pinkerton Deluxe has been in the works for a while; it was originally supposed to be out this fall but was pushed so the new album could come out first.

robotnerd
2 things: 1.) this album is a mix of some of the worst and catchiest songs weezer has written. can't stop partying is utter fucking garbage. i want you too is an instant sing along. 2.) all this talk about songs from the black hole, didn't rivers come out in an interview once and basically say that songs from the black hole was never really a concrete thing? it wasn't an album that never happened, it was just an idea he had, he wrote a few songs, and the fans blew it way out of proportion? i seem to remember reading that somewhere. monk0nuggets
So, I caved and checked this out. On first listen, my least favorite record by them. We'll see if it gets better or not.
flicker
p4k just posted Cant stop partying. this is terrible. how can you guys still listen to this band? there is not a single redeeming quality to their music anymore. can anyone even play an instrument? theres no personality. everything sounds like it was made on FL studio using the preset samples. song sounds like its at 3/4ths speed. hate it. alertthemute
Red Album was actually halfway decent, but I can't even listen to these songs. Its really really embarrassing how bad they are.
