chiefwahoo
After the Manny and Lowell homers, I figured the season was over. What a game!
scottheisel
That was absolutely beautiful. I hope they continue to put Gagne in, just so we can rock him some more.
mrc
It was rather fun to hear the swellers add in red sox commentary in the middle of their songs. since there was a tv on the side of the stage, he felt he had to keep us informed. You support the Tribe as well? Nice! Well I'm a Cubs fan for life, but a Indians fan by geography -- I figure they're in separate leagues, so the only time I have to root for one against the other is interleague play once every few years (or, god forbid, the World Series). hickey
That 11th inning was a mess, but now we're starting fresh. The Tribe deserved every run they got in that 11th inning. That said, it's not going to happen again. Enjoy the win, it's their last. Tonight's a lock with Matsuzaka throwing (this will be his post-season breaktrough). We have Wakefield on the mound on Tuesday (how's Cleveland do with a knuckle-baller on the mound?). Then Beckett's back up for game five. Borowski scares the shit out of me so it was nice to get a 1-2-3 inning out of him. Can't wait to go to the game tomorrow!
scottheisel
What are you thinking? Sonovabitch, I wish I would've checked this thread before the game. Either way, you were wrong.
jhulud
I just got home from the Minus The Bear show and my brother told me the final score...damnit! I bow my head in shame for being a Red Sox fan...BUT...there's still time and hope...!!!!!!
ps
I thought the thread title change was necessary, and it also was a painful reminder of my teams weak downfall. On that note, go Rockies!!

chiefwahoo
I concede. No need to play game 7. Typical Cleveland. Congratulations Boston
scottheisel
I went down to Jacobs Field tonight. They announced the attendance at 16,000 in the top of the 1st. By the top of the 2nd, I'd say half those people left. We stuck it out all the way till the end, and I'd say there were maybe 1000 people left at the end, and that's a big maybe. What a terrible job by our pitching staff.

I'll most likely be watching it at the bar with A Wilhelm Scream -- those Massholes will definitely make the night one to remember, I'm sure. jhulud
now THIS is a game! My man Dustin Pedroia coming through! No shit. I'm on the edge of my seat... I ended up staying home instead of going to the Boston bar I mentioned. Low on funds.
