jayeffscene
is still a pretty killer game. Between that and FFX I'm liking my decision to dust of the PS2.
adamlikesmusic
I only ever played 1 and 2 on my N64. Never owned 1, but rented it probably enough times to buy two copies of it.
mclz
i had 1, 2, and 3, liking 2 the most, plus 1 had the best soundtrack, i mean who didn't listen to superman and new girl every day after that game came out?
monk0nuggets
I loved 1, 2 and 4 but never really got into 3 for some reason. Good game though.
swaty327
2 all the way for me. I spent a lot of hours on 3, but 2 had better parks, Swingin Utters and Lagwagon.
destroyingthescene
2 will be the pinnacle game of the series for me. Great locations, awesome soundtrack, lots of great moves without going overboard. 3 was my second favourite though, it kinda went downhill from there. I hear the new Tony Hawk Ride is utter trash, the skateboard peripheral is supposedly pretty wonky.
Guest kissthesharks
I grew up in butt fuck, Texas (no music scene at all)..so I got a LOT of jams from this game. Oh and I liked playing them too
Guest eriathomas
I liked 1 and 2 the best, after that it was boring and repetitive. This thread also reminds me to play FFX International, and fight the big boss with over 2 million HP.
jurrobear
I loved the 2nd game so much, That was my favorite game of 8th grade on my PS1, I did enjoy the 3rd game but two was just amazing. The last one I played was the first Underground game, I liked it, put a ton of hours on that game.
patron
2, 4 and Underground were the best ones.
riddle350
I put a lot of time into 1-4. All were good games. All had great soundtracks. I thinkg 1 and 2 had the best tunes. 2 was probably my favorite. Great locations, rad tricks and the addition of manules made my mind explode when I was in 8h grade. So much fun. The Skate games were a huge expansion on these games but the original Tony Hawk games will always have a place in my heart.
partysmasher
used to love this series but since i got skate on the xbox i've found it really hard to go back to them, too unrealistic and simple
patron
Oh totally, Skate 2 is probably one of my all time favourite games.
thisisahiijack
i've considered pulling out the ps2 for this very reason. and TWISTED FUCKING METAL FUCKING BLACK.
dynamitekid
3 was my favorite because you could do basically infinite combos.
brammyg
THPS 2 was the best. Hands down.

promsaway
Number 3 was my first one, so it is my favorite. Although, I probably spent the most time with THUG/THUG II/American Waste because my friend and I felt it necessary to get drunk and get 100% completion on those games. And this was before the phenomenon of achievements... Also, American Wasteland had a devilock as a hairstyle, so it gets bonus points there. heavyheavylowlow
THPS2 is the reason I started liking non pop music. it Opened my eyes to Bad Religion and Rage Against The Machine.
rockstar71888
I'm gonna be "that guy" and say I like the skate. series better. However....THPS 1 and 2 have the best soundtracks. To whoever said it above..."Superman" is the shit.
