casey
Shake the Sheets is my #3 album of the decade and favorite by Ted Leo. Second place of TL's probably goes to Tyranny. The stuff I've heard from the new album sounds a lot like ToD. What's your favorite TL?
scottheisel
Honestly, I feel like he peaked early with The Tyranny Of Distance which is a goddamn flawless album, and each subsequent disc has gotten ever-so-slightly not as good. They're all still four stars or above in my book, though.
jurrobear
I really regret selling my copy of The Tyranny Of Distance last Summer. I picked up the first 3 Lookout records for about 8 bucks each. I didn't really enjoy the last record.
casey
Last record had a couple good songs but a lot of filler. I'm really stoked for The Brutalist Bricks, though. Provided he can keep it slim, and the rest sounds like the two songs I've heard, it could be his best yet.
birdwell
Hearts of Oak is by far my favorite, it's leaps and bounds ahead of the material that came before and after in my opinion

john
Shakes the sheets has more popular songs, but Hearts of Oak is perfect. Can't wait for the new album
ricky
shake the sheets! Holy crap, I thought this album was called "Shake the Streets" until just now. And I own it. And listen to it often. What the hell. But Hearts of Oak is my favorite.
skumbucket
Never got the excitement over "Hearts of Oak." There's a couple of good tracks, but most of them are too long for my liking. "Shake The Sheets" and "Tyranny" are way better.
jayeffscene
The only one I own is 'Hearts.' I'll have to keep an eye out for 'Sheets.'

scotterson
Tyranny of Distance and Shake the Sheets are pretty even for me, with Hearts of Oak being close behind. Voted for Tyranny to help even out the polls a bit.

destroyingthescene
I could listen to "Shake The Sheets" over and over again, and I usually do. Wish I would have bought it when it was still in print.
