mrc
I grabbed the orchestra of wolves and heard a couple songs and it sounds goods. do they have any other releases that i should get.
sgoodcore
The two Evens records are great. If you don't have the Gaslight Anthem record that's awesome driving music. Nothington its another record that falls in that category. The new Hot Hot Heat record sounds pretty good after a quick listen.

mrc
thanks... wow that is a hell of a contract, they seems like a solid band. to band they are sticking around for more albums
riddle350
The singers main focus is tattooing so he's not too worried about keeping the band together.
sgoodcore
The singers main focus is tattooing so he's not too worried about keeping the band together. When that contract is up and if the live up to they hype, I'd imagine someone would make it worth their while to stay in music.

skumbucket
late night driving -- the national's "boxer" dusk driving -- murder by death's "in bocca al lupo" daytime driving -- biographies. driving through bc recently i listened to the 5-disc set of mike wallace reading his memoirs and it was the most alert i've ever been on the road. fascinating stuff. skumbucket
it was very interesting. and i got to hear mike wallace say "fuck" two times in succession. he said it to lyndon b. johnson!
ericxthexred
I've always like the weakerthans for solo driving music. crank it up and sing along. this doesn't work if there are others in the car tho.
benchwarmer
I honestly get really tired if I'm listening to a lot of music on a longer road trip. I listen to podcasts though, specifically "this american life." great stories, very interesting, and something different to listen to while on the road. mrc
i listen to Henry rollins - get in the van audio book. that usually passes the time rather quickly. i grabbed that cd from a flea market for a buck. great find. it made me buy a lot of his books after hearing that for the first time.
