thomas
ah, whens that coming out? all i heard about that was that chris said they were going to release all three in a box set sometime next year? It comes out within the next month or so. They will release a box with the last album and the next album with a case that holds all 3 next year, and probably also a set with all 3 in it. But you can buy Under the Boards soon.

riddle350
I've only heard the two songs on myspace and they are both fucking great. I'm refusing to listen to the rest of it untill I can actually buy it. But to say I'm excited for it would be an understatment.

I'm glad to hear that. Many would think that's a bad thing, but I also greatly enjoy In Reverie.
cadetapplesauce
chris' voice gets annoying sometimes, though. i think their best albums were the ones with steve evetts producing. and stay what you are.
magalvsr13
yeah, chris' voice gets more annoying on every release...they are some cringe worthy parts on this album
skumbucket
i haven't heard it yet, but i liked the last one more than i have any of theirs in a long time. also, i thought his voice got substantially better than it had been on the last one. rivalcycle
once i got past the fact that Saves The Day is a changing band (they've been losing members left and right and it seems like on every album they have a different drummer/bass player - which is true, kinda) i seemed to enjoy it more. the only thing that kind of turns me off these days is when they play stuff from the older catalog. i'm thrilled that they haven't become like brand new and completely abandoned the stuff, but it feels weird and seems like there's no connection to the material since it wasn't written with durijah and manny. i don't know if that makes sense at all, and i'm sure i could describe it better. but yea. skumbucket
i understand what you're saying and i totally agree. a band that has never had a consistent line-up (more or less) always encounters those problems, i think. that's why the smart ones change their name when they realize they've got 1 or less original member. rivalcycle
for all intents and purposes - i consider dave an original member. he's been on every single "major" release the band has put out. i just feel like when i watch them now it's 2 hired guns and 2 guys that "are" saves the day. riddle350
yeah but Manny can play the bass like a motherfucker.
skumbucket
i really like the element his fuzzy, aggro basslines bring to their sound. or at least i did on the last record.
Guest falloutcollapse
I'll probably love it seeing as I'm the only one in the world that likes In Reverie. I loved In Reverie, it was one of the first punk/emo/whatever CD's I had ever gotten into. I got "War All the Time" by Thursday and In Reverie on the same day from an older friend. I still love both, and most people consider those two to be both bands' worst releases.
