steventangent
Making me want you so damn bad. I have some money saved up for a guitar. The most practical thing I could get is an acoustic, but I'm really thinking of getting a tele. I was at Elderly the other day and saw this : Jim Adkins signature model. I'm usually not too okay with signature models of guitars, but this one has all of the features I like in guitars...it's tempting. I also hear good things about it. I'm going to go back and play it pretty soon.

That is a nice tele, I definately wouldn't buy a tele like the first one with P90s.

scotterson
I have an american deluxe that I love more than any other guitar I've ever played. My next tele would be one of the thinlines.

xxmartinxx
[hater]I've always found playing Fender guitars similar to playing a two-by-four. Other than Jazz Basses, I'm a Gibson only type of guy.[/hater]
jimmythescumbag
Kinda wanted one of these just for shits and giggles (but the picture below it is what I really want for a guitar...and bass)...
punkrockvinyl25
i've got a thinline...my wife bought it for me before we got married. i put aside my gretsch because i love the sound. then i finally got a ric 360 so now i switch back and forth between the 2. my band just got a 2nd guitarist and he has a squire tele custom. we played it next to a american deluxe it must have been fucked with cus it sounds way better then an american deluxe. steventangent
Good call on the Mosrite. I played one for the first time recently and fell in love...it was so much fun, and sounded so good in my hands. I'm about to get a new guitar, but it will probably be the Godin 5th Ave Kingpin. I need a new acoustic for shows.

steventangent
Also considering getting a '72 thinline, though I'd probably end up putting P90s in it anyway.

I have a Godin LGX that was main guitar for several years. It is a solid body electric with acoustic transducers in the saddle. It is the most versatile guitar I've played, and it sounds and feels great. Godin is a solid company.
jwalka
I got an American Telecaster brand new for $300 (very lucky deal). I just took out the bridge pick-up and put in a lil 59er. Oh how I love this guitar so much the new pickup adds so much.

You should look into these Fender Tele's, I never seen one in person but they're on the Fender site. I think there is a Squier model too.
