kurtmanner
You sir, are correct. Watching horror movies on Halloween is always a great time! I love how theres like 5 channels right now that have steady horror movies playing. AMC is especially awesome this time of year. One of my favorites, which wont be shown in the US anytime soon, is Dead Alive/Brain Dead.
jhulud
In no particular order, some of my favorites: Hellraiser I & II...III may be a stretch...the rest suck Pumpkinhead The Exorcist (can't go wrong with a classic) The Eye (the original Hong Kong one) Pet Sematary The Shining Mary Shelley's Frankenstein Puppet Master In The Mouth Of Madness Jacob's Ladder (more of a psycholgical thriller) Nightbreed Event Horizon The Thing (Kurt Russell one) Lord of Illusions Session 9 The Monster Squad (not horror but humorous horror)

tommytumult
I prefer the cheez horror stuff. Any troma films or something like Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter which my roommates and I watched Friday night. Classic! When it comes to watching actual creepy stuff, I like Freaks because they used real sideshow freaks.

That movie is truly scary. And I know a lot of people give Eli Roth a lot of shit, but I really enjoy the Hostel movies.
cadetapplesauce
this is kinda off topic, but i think that it's funny that robert rodriguez also wrote the spy kids trilogy. haha.
jhulud
I have only seen the first Hostel...and that was off the chain. It definitely threw out the window any romantic notions of backpacking in Europe and whatnot.
jhulud
I enjoy when Bravo runs their horror movie specials. I am watching the "30 Even Scarier Movie Moments". I like that feeling I get when I'm like " Holy shit! I remember that part in that movie! That was some crazy shit!"...always amusing.
