themullet89
I'm stoked to see Brendan cover Kiss the Bottle. One of my favorite Jawbreaker songs. Will be pre-ordering when it goes up.

syr667
few things... what's blood meridian? is this a different recording of let the train whistle blow than was on the johnny cash tribute? (like ben's alternate version of delia's gone) and speaking of ben nichols, while i am really stoked to hear another cover of kiss the bottle, i still only expect it to be my third favorite version under lucero and of course the original. time will tell though. 706union
"Blood Meridian" is a novel that Ben Nichols wrote a whole record (well, a MCD) about "The last pale light in the west". Both are great.
thedavidescapeplan
This has nothing to do with Ben Nichols. It's probably just "The Redness in the West" since that is the alternate title to Blood Meridian.
706union
I didnt say it has something to do with Nichols. I said its a novel and that Nichols wrote a record about it.
syr667
that adds up. kinda like changing 'faintly falling ashes' acoustic to 'purple haze' on cocktails and dreams. i havent read the book so i didn't know about the subtitle. but ben's ep, and brendans song are both pretty sweet. That's what I'm assuming it will be, at least that is what seems most logical. I have to agree that Ben's ep is pretty fantastic, but you should read the book. It's not the easiest read but it's totally worth it.

harryq
so i just saw on the anchorless website that the colored version is "limit 1 per order"... anyone have any idea if this means only one of each color or only one of either of the colors?
One Hundred Fifty-Two
I read that as they are only selling one of the two colors in their webstore
adamlikesmusic
I read that as they are only selling one of the two colors in their webstore I don't see how one can derive that from "limit 1 per order".
anchorless
So, we are limiting it to 1 of each color per order and since we are doing 2 colors it's cool if you pick up a copy of each color and any amount on black. feel free to email with questions! We will have a package in our store for all three (black, yellow and white) cheers neil
