believe it. it's legitimately delicious. however, it's something i'll only try once.

first of all, it has to be the most unhealthy thing i've eaten all year. this was the first time i've had fast food of any sort in a couple months. only the 3rd or 4th time in all of 2010 (and i only ate fast food 3 times in all of 2009 - one of those was the mcgangbang on its initial run i think).

second of all, the double down cost $5.49. FOR JUST THE SANDWICH. no drink. no side dish. for $5.50 i could have bought 5 McChickens and/or 5 double cheeseburgers. $5.49 is way too much for a fast food sandwich, no matter how good it tasted. i will never buy another one based solely on its cost.

but the flavors mixed really well, and this thing will keep me full for the rest of the day/night for sure, so i'm done eating for the day.

there is also the "unprotected mcgangbang" which is a spicy mcchicken instead of the regular kind.

i was debating going out tomorrow and getting a double down. but now knowing they're $5 makes the decision that much easier. my heart's prayers have been answered.
