Read a review of last night's tour debut -- sounded pretty fun. Apparently Spoon showed up and performed 3 songs (they were also in town and delayed their show in order to do a surprise performance). Triumph The Insult Comic Dog does a videotaped bit, too.

Sounds like Max Weinberg is not part of this tour. Bums me out, and also makes me think this article may actually be more than rumors:

Saw it last night, great show! It was pretty much just Conan goofing around with Andy and the band for 90 minutes. Silly skits, silly songs, and just a good time all around. The one thing I took away from it though is Conan's legs are fucking skinny!!

Those of you who have seen this already: Reggie Watts is doing an opening act, right? How long after the "show start" time did conan actually start?

In Chicago, Reggie Watts hit the stage right at the printed time on the ticket; Conan's band took the stage probably 35-40 minutes later and played a few warm-up songs before Coco came out. All in all, I'd say Conan was onstage within an hour of the printed ticket time, and he performs for close to two hours.
