This is the reason that I looked forward to Record Store Day so much!! The packaging on these is absolutely unreal, with the heaviest cardboard I own on any of my records. And the absolute best part is the albums sound SO much heavier (I have only had time to listen to a little of Far Beyond Driven, and right now I am half way through Cowboys From Hell). chubbler108 Posted April 18, 2010 Author Share Posted April 18, 2010 I went to Sunrise Records in Toronto, and they were $24.99, but they were handing out free Sunrise ID cards for RSD (discount card) so they ended up costing $22.50 each. I am almost done my first run of Cowboys now, and side C skipped like a mofo. Did this happen to anyone else? If so I am going to go exchange for a different one. brentoage Posted April 18, 2010 Share Posted April 18, 2010 picked up all 3 of these from rotate this in toronto yesterday. they were a few bucks more expensive there than the other stores that i made it too, but still, paying under $30 for each of them is fine with me. glad to finally own quality copies of all three albums. deafmx Posted April 19, 2010 Share Posted April 19, 2010 would have loved to but for $27 a pop, i couldn't justify it with how much other stuff i was going to pick up. i'm sure i'll be able to grab them at some point though, the prices of most of the RSD stuff was too pricey but i expected that to be the case. i haven't been able to go previously, always stuck working that weekend.
