kirbypuckett
It starts in about 90 mins, 1pm EST! Who's excited? I'm ready for a new iPhone, the 3G is a dog these days. Leaked info about a trackpad leaked on Engadget this morning. Lala was shut down recently too.
evvandflow
i plan on getting my first iPhone this summer. i've been waiting on this announcement for months!
exitenglish1208
im really excited, but i fear i won't be able to upgrade to the new phone, i have a 3gs. also cydia was crashing on me this morning and i dont have ssh installed so i'm really flustered about that. i'm always excited for apple events though. that trackpad is intriguing, but i can't see what use it would have for a laptop, as they already all have trackpads... i'm definitely hoping for some kind of announcement involving the cloud, free mobileme would be a start, because apple is really falling to google in that respect
jhulud
New iPhone would be cool. The 3G has been pissing me off lately. But I'd have to hold out til mid-2011.
bruins4ever
I'm gonna be getting this new IPhone this summer. I wanted one a few months ago, but I did my research and have held out thus far. As soon as I get the date, I'll be picking it up.
davezer
My 3G is really getting on my nerves as of late, and supposedly will be irrelevent when this new phone hits. Can't wait to upgrade, I'm tired of looking at this broken screen.
destroyingthescene
I'm actually hoping to see something related to their purchase of Lala in the way of iTunes streaming or something for cloud computing.

lonesomexloveus
i'm a little sad that i care slightly less about this now that i just got an android phone.
partysmasher
Can't wait to hear what they're doing with the iphone, my contract ended last month so i can upgrade to the 4g as soon as it's released. Analysts are saying this will be the last iphone that's superior to android, i'll be happy to see some fiercer competition going on between the two in the future. adamlikesmusic
Analysts are saying this will be the last iphone that's superior to android ??? (How is that even something analysts can predict?) Obviously there'll be the new iPhone. I think there'll be the new Safari released. Maybe new iTunes update to go along with the aforementioned phone. There was rumors of another major OS X update, could be. Maybe Mac Pro and MacBook Air as well. I'm not holding my breath for the streamable iTunes, or an Apple TV update today, though I'd like to see them both.

adamlikesmusic
Also, I was just reading up on that supposed Apple trackpad peripheral, and it seems a bit sketchy to me. Hasn't Apple repeatedly down-talked handwriting recognition as a slow and antiquated means of input? Seems weird they'd release a trackpad supporting just that. adamlikesmusic
Zynga - If they release Farmville for iPhone OS, I'm gonna lose a lot of faith in humanity. Edit - Spoke about 10 seconds too soon. Edit 2 - Looks awfully small on the iPhone. I'd hate to try actually doing anything on it.
lonesomexloveus
this just lost all credibility being that they just devoted an entire segment to farmville. ...really? i mean, com'on.
kirbypuckett
this just lost all credibility being that they just devoted an entire segment to farmville....really? i mean, com'on. Why? It's a dumb game, but it's still the biggest game in the world right now. That's huge to have it on the iPhone. Zynga is going to make a TON more cash.
