scotterson
I would totally go to this if I lived in one of those cities, but am not going to take the time/effort/money to travel to one. My friends that went to one of their residency shows in NC a few years ago said it was actually really great, I think it would be fun to see them again, even if it is just Billy Corgan. jurrobear
The first time I saw them when he reformed under the name it was fantastic. The second time I saw them it was a fucking joke.

nick6ten
Bought my tickets for the Columbus show. I wanted to see them in 5th grade, back in '96 or so, and my dad wouldn't let me go. from then on, I never got the chance to see them, I happened to be in Chicago and New York City when they were there on various tours, and missed out on seeing them on my birthday on a day off from tour thanks to being poor from being on tour. So for me this is long overdue. At this point I don't care if it's Billy Corgan and new friends, as long as they play some old songs, I'll be set. Saw them on both the farewell (Machina-era) and comeback (Zeitgeist-era) tours. Billy is a god - with or without the original members of the band. scotterson
Saw them during Mellon Collie.... That was enough. That's when I saw them also, such a good show. I still wouldn't mind seeing them again though.

bizarospeak
Last time the "Pumpkins" were in NYC they played 2 of the worst shows EVER! Billy spent half of making costume changes and dancing around the stage. They played a 30 minute jam one night and It was beyond self-indulgent! I'm sorry but the last album and recent shows are beyond proof that The Smashing Pumpkins are more then just Coragan.
