zac
band always seemed bored when they were playing live...never got into em. but the records were really good. but yeah, the live show was terrible. This was always how I felt. I saw them twice and they were boring but I love their albums.

dangerdave
this is so fucking depressing, one of my favorite bands ever. also, boring live show? you guys must have had shitty dates or something. saw them three times and never once were they boring. the last time i saw them was one of the most incredible sets i've ever seen. so much energy, everyone singing along while crammed in this tiny basement. circlingvultures
I thought this band broke up years and years ago. Never did anything for me. nevermind. wrong band. I was thinking Death By Stereo. That band sucked.

I saw them twice at mediocre to bad shows in Chicago...that I could explain and give leeway...but also twice opening up for the Silent Majority reunion shows a few years back...same deal...the band looked bored...except the crowd was going apeshit. I may have seen them one other time too...in more recent times. so many people hyped this band but they were one of the least appealing bands from Long Island I've ever heard. pastepunk
I always thought there was a disconnect between their songwriting and their stage presence. Doesn't mean they were bored playing live, but maybe they were just true to their personalities live than trying to force it. There are lot of bands that I preferred on record to live (anyone remember New Found Glory's early years on stage? Eeeesh).

googlemyass
saw it coming... better now, than after a few shitty records.
riddle350
never saw them live. liked their records. wasn't really into the last one. oh well.
wakeupandlive
Yeah, everytime I saw them live, I was bored to death. Even when the crowds were really good. I'm not too bummed on this, only bummed on the fact that I never got to hear For Exes live.
mclz
There last record was crap. I still think Choke is one of the best closing tracks to a record though.

coldsnap
funny fact; i went to see them in Farmingdale, NY last year and the singer and i dressed exactly the same. white plain t-shirt, tight black jeans and red vans. i mean, what are the odds that this could happen, haha. troymess
I loved their latest release...but I've always been into various bands' experiments into other sounds. They had a good run, it's a bummer I only got to see them once.
icecream
I wouldn't say their last effort was crap it was definitely more of a grower. It couldn't touch is dead that's for sure. It would of been interesting to get one more album out of them. I agree it's good they ended it now though.

Crime In Stereo was a bands band in my mind. I saw them and played with them a good bit and sure, there were always a handful of people into them, but a majority just stood there, not getting it/liking it. i know a lot of bands who loved seeing them every night, hell, i loved seeing them every time i could, but they were a band that never seemed to really catch. some great guys though, had some awesome conversations with them over the years.
