Cera is usually not the greatest actor (except for Arrested Development), but he fits the role of Scott perfectly. wish there were more of the nerdy references from the book that made it into the movie, but still great nonetheless. rise3905 Posted August 19, 2010 Share Posted August 19, 2010 loved it loved it loved it. i was a little skeptical at first but i loved it from the first scene. great video game references and characters. definately want to read the comics now. i'm not a huge fan of michael cera (even in arrested development) but i think he played the part brilliantly. I was checking my watch for a good 25 minutes waiting for the movie to end.Also was bummed at how shitty his band was. i'm pretty sure that beck wrote all the sex bob-omb's songs. however, i'm thoroughly indifferent regarding him and never got into his stuff. just throwing that factoid out there! i thought the movie itself was pretty funny and i enjoyed it, but i didn't get any of the characters' motivation and i couldn't really root for any of the main characters cuz they were all sort of jerks. Broken Social Scene did the songs for Crash and the Boys. "Black Sheep" by Metric was the song that Clash at the Demonhead performed.
