I have officially launched the new, word press hosted version of my record blog.

And I've got a 2nd contributor on board that some of you might know.

So, feel free to swing by or add it to your bookmarks to see a documentation of not only my collection but jhulud's as well (and my friend nick too for that matter since he's the other full bird contributor to the blog)

I don't understand why this needs to be a blog. I mean, my obsessive-compulsive tendencies and fear of theft and ensuing insurance claims have led me to take pictures of all my records, but I never thought "hey, maybe other people want to see pictures of these fairly common records."

Not trying to be mean. Just sayin'.

I get what you're saying, but there's a whole sub-culture (for lack of a better term) that does this very thing.

Some of them even post here.

GREAT BLOG.

LOVE IT.

I can say the same about your label ;)

It's a thing.

Shit, I like to take pics of records I am listening to and post them on my Tumblr for no reason other than, fuck it, why not.

I follow probably about 5 or 6 record collecting blogs, maybe more. I am not a crazy variant OCD nut job, but I do appreciate reading the stories that people have about getting the records they get, or why they like it, etc etc.

It's fun. Don't like it, don't read it!

;D

kinda bummed you moved it off of tumblr. I always forget to read blogs other places.

I didn't want to move it necessarily, but Tumblr was aggravating me for a couple reasons so it seemed like the best option.

EDIT:

You can also follow the Twitter feed, I always post on there when a new post has gone up; twitter.com/ibuyrecords
