brotherkyle
Do you buy shipping labels and print off the internet or go to the post office and pay? If you buy shipping labels, where do you get them from?

jordyedge
How much does it cost to ship to Australia? I'd figure I'd jump in, maybe someone knows!
david
I found it's easiest to just use the automated machines at the post office. If you know the media mail rates you can just print out your own stamps for $2.77, $3.16 etc.

Dillhole
I bring it to the FedEx Express station, I use my employee discount and ship either Express or Ground. USPS, I go to the 24 hour service counter if its nothing important, or go wait in line like everyone else for something that needs delivery confirmation or some other specialty service. Luckily we got a small local Post Office which is rarely that active.
mattisr1984
how do you know weight? You can get a scale pretty cheap pretty much anywhere this. plus, you get delivery confirmation for .19 with every label or free if youre shipping priority. if you dont want/cant afford a scale, you can almost always estimate it as long as youre estimating over. when youre shipping media mail, you can pad it by a couple of ounces and it really wont affect the price you pay for the postage. still, if youre a collector and you plan on trading and/or selling for a long time - a $15 scale is a worthwhile investment for more reason than one. donlombardo
Funny thing, in Sweden you can't buy stamps at the post office anymore. Only at grocery stores and stuff like that.
serum7
I don't have a scale, but if I can save a couple of bucks and I'm shipping a few things I'll take it to the automated postal machine, get the weight, go home and buy it online and have them pick them up.
